I am a seeker who has been led to vast mindscapes through reading, and as such, am an avid reader. Or at least I was, pre-child. Even so, I'm always reading at least one book at any given time. Before my beautiful son, I was the type to read 4 or 5 books at a time, never missing a beat of even a minute plot nuance. In my younger years, I read exclusively fiction, and was always drawn to the supernatural, fantasy, and horror genres, though the classics built my foundation. In adulthood I branced out into NF, especially involving spirituality, philosophy, and history. Other than reading, I enjoy music (having been a musician almost as long as I've been a reader), hiking, yoga, and homeschooling my son. I'm friend to the faeries, cats, the UU church, and people of all types. What I want most in the world: for people to read more so that they can be inspired to ever wider ways of thinking. « less
