I am a seeker who has been led to vast mindscapes through reading, and as such, am an avid reader. Or at least I was, pre-child. Even so, I'm always reading at least one book at any given time. Before my beautiful son, I was the type to read 4 or 5 books at a time, never missing a beat of even a minute plot nuance. In my younger years, I...more »

Dear Stephanie: I would like to offer up for your reading pleasure my own HUNTING THE KING. I think it fits your description of what you like to read. The main character is a charismatic young woman named Molly O'Dwyer. Molly was five years old when she witnessed her mother die in a fire. She never knew her father. After her mother’s death, she was raised on the campus of a Jesuit college. Now an archaeologist, she has been recruited to participate on a dig in war torn Iraq. As a scientist she is compelled to discover whatever or whoever is buried under the sands of ancient Babylon. As an observant Catholic, she is scared that whatever she finds will have devastating consequences for her faith. There is a wonderful YouTube book trailer well worth watching if you have the chance. If you do get to see, please let me know what you think. Thanks. Peter

Okay, so I've just spent like 2 hours adding books to my shelf, and it's still only a fraction of the books I own... Just ones that I really liked or they actually changed my way of thinking.
