So Chronic City is not so good. The description I read of the book definitely left me with the feeling that it was not my kind of book.
Just finished "Impossible," by Nancy Werlin. Totally engrossing--think I will give to my daughter for Christmas. YA, but definitely adult-crossover. Think your daughters would like it too.
