Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Alton Brown! (Potentially.. a Colbert fan too????!!!?!?!)Would you feel more comfortable if your wife called it a heterosexual man crush? :D I get lots of hetero girl crushes.
Hiya! So you're an Alton fan too, eh? :D
p.s. I'm married with two boys too - a 12 year old and a 9 year old. And my husband is a Hopkins grad :)
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on Freakonomics. Your comments resonated with me. I think my overall take was "fascinating concept", but I do remember while reading it that some parts became tiresome. Reading it in 2 days is fast though!! I am amazed how fast folks can read around here. I've always though I was a pretty fast reader myself, but anything literary or non fiction usually takes me five days at least. A pulp novel I can plow through in a couple of days, but honestly I don't really read that kind of thing anymore.
Hey, cool site. Very intellectual. Now the dustbunnies in the spare bedroom aren't the only creatures to view my bookshelf. Thanks for the invite.
