Bee Season is GREAT! Let me know when you are done reading, we can discuss. Ended up getting Anderson Cooper from the library; read it in one sitting, about a 1/3 of it was covering Katrina, I was weeping. Man, I love that man.Finished Breakfast of Champions. Hey chica - have fun Sunday! Not to be annoying, but please put in my plug for Arkansas! Also, I may need to sell this to everyone, but might be easier if everyone DID join Shelfari, to manage dates and books we've read and stuff. I would be willing to get us a page set up, or at least attempt to figure it out. Also, in picking the next date, I could normally do Sundays at 4:30 I think, might sometimes be a little late with work. Also I forget if Tuesdays were good for everyone but I can do those now, too. Finally, I do really want to borrow the Anderson Cooper and Amy Tan books, sorry I forgot them! I'll pick them up sooner or later....Talk soon,v
Hey chica, hope pool was fun. Had to get up $*# early to finish work that I avoided on Saturday. Ended up watching a Lindsey Lohan movie on ABC Family....THAT was how much in avoidance mode I was.Anyway wanted to say re: JazzFest benefactor, I worked at a beer booth all three days and got free admission, private staff port-o-potty and a place to put my stuff (AND a tent to sit under while raining) - they take volunteers every year so lemme know if you are interested! What did you think of "Snow Falling on Cedars"? It's been on my bookshelf, and I've wanted to read it, but haven't yet. What did you think? Also, did you see the movie of the "Bridge to Terrabithia" b/c it was AWESOME! :)
