“I was a bit squimish to read it at first because I was pregnant and the daughter turns out to have down syndrome - so I waited until my daughter was born and read it. It was a sad story, but has its rewards.”

“Freaking Christianity!! Read this and then "Poisonwood Bible" by Kingsolver and you got thesis on how Christianity F** everything up. The only remaining people that have not been influenced by Christianity are the Tibetan Monks . . .”

“I actually wrote brady udall, and he responded. This book was a true page turner, I read it in less than a week during a hectic semester while in college. This book shows that there is a silver lining to every dark cloud and shows that if u're in hell, just keep going - you might exit too quick before the reward shows itself.”

“OMG, the first book I ever read in my whole entire life! I will never forget how this spawned obsession with anacondas. I remember borrowing a book on anacondas twice in a row from the library in my school (El Externado) and I was only in first grade.

I'm not sure about the ending though.”
