I am mother first in all I do. I love life, music, books, food and wine. I spent my childhood reading lots of books (we did not have a tv). As an adult I worked for years in the film industry where I read scripts and as they piled up on my desk, the books never got a chance. After having a child I rediscovered books. I have read out loud to her since she was an infant and still read to her nightly--although now we are into the novels and the picture books are not visited as often. I have just recently started substitute teaching in elementary schools and so I hope to spread the love of books to many on my journey. « less
