    LOL, I feel like an immortal!!! Khalil Gibran's poetry is famous here, but not everyone agrees with him either, I think he's a dreamer and a free thinker that's why I like some of his work.

    Yes, I know what "Muzamil" (مزمل) means, it talks about our prophet Mohammed when he saw the angel Gabriel and was so scared, that he ran home to his wife begging her to cover him up because he was cold with fear, by what he saw and heard.

    Am I dreamy? The answer is YES! I dream while I sleep, I day-dream a lot, and sometimes I lose time dreaming.
    I can't stop this habit, or the habit of talking to myself aloud!! I know I sound crazy, but I have so much imagination and stories playing around in my head all the time.

    Even when I talk to people I fly away, though I hear everything they say, I try to put them in another place more suitable for their words.

    I'm a dreamer.
    I'm a thinker.
    I'm both practical and perspective with a touch of creativity.

    Basically, I have my feet on the ground and my head in clouds!!

    Yes, Dana is my real name, which means "White Pearl" in Arabic. What's your given name if I may ask? Does M. stand for something?

    You're welcome to all my journeys for soul/self discovery :) I hope what you said might come true, about my thoughts and words touching people from both East and West. Our world might be large, but written words and technology make it smaller and closer to different people with different beliefs, I like that about our present, maybe our future will be a world of different cultures that mix in peace.

    Wow! Your message made me feel speechless! I read it yesterday, but I felt like I need to read it again today and think about what I shall write to you in return. I LOVED your choice of words and I loved your metaphors, truly. You are full of raw passion for words! I like that! It makes me want to write even more. I'm glad you visited my other blog as well. I'm much more active there now.

    LOL, I might be enigmatic but sometimes I'm a bit dull and lazy, really, it's just the truth. And I loved the quote from Blake. It's very reassuring that I'm doing something right with my baby steps in my "writing career". In the right time, I would love for you and the whole world to read a story I've written :) But I'm doubtful now; I just keep feeling this is not it. There is more somewhere inside of me that need to be unleashed.

    Okay, now I'm truly jealous! It's a personal dream of mine to travel the world and see all you've seen as well; I have more places in my list though. I love to see the world through my eyes now; I'm sick from seeing it on the blue screen or in books, I want to smell and taste the world and see it and feel it with all my senses!

    You have the perfect "existential attitude" then, I got to say, that I read some new and old philosophy theories, especially censoring art and the creative mind, but I feel I like I lean for a theory here and there, but I can't say I follow anything precisely, I think I like to play by my own rules, other people's rules are so hard to follow and are not as fun as my simple ones. I just like to be myself.

    Isn't funny how much our tinny hearts could handle? How much they could carry, until they give in? In some ways it's extraordinary, in others it's sad, but I won't trade my heart for the world. I was thinking about a short story by J.K. Rowling in her companion book "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" for the Harry Potter series. The title is "The Warlock's Hairy Heart"; this is my favorite besides "The Tale of the Three Brothers". You should check it out, I like this story, though it's very dark, it makes you think.

    Yes, I've been writing a story for awhile, but for some reason I'm way too lazy or out of inspiration!
    It's amazing, I think, but not ready for anyone's eyes but my own.

    Only people with beautiful souls such as yourself can see beauty in others :)
    So you shouldn't be envious, I just have too much energy and I like to share.

    Quite the contrary! I thought your poem was quite good...and I think you actually exceed me in talent. I am honored that you would see me as a "Senior Writer", but in all actuality it is more just a hobby with occasional flashes of brilliance. I thought you were asking me to do a line-by-line analysis of your poem, and I feel that I am some defficient in the explication of others' work- i.e.- I am better at writing than critiquing. Please take no offense and I apologize for my tardy response. Please feel free to keep in touch.
