Right now, you're probably wondering why this book is titled LEMONADE WAR. Okay, you know how brothers and sisters are together, competitive, but they still love and care about each other. Well, it's the same way with Evan and Jessie. Evan is mad because his little sister (Jessie) is in his class this year. Jessie is skipping third grade. Evan normally sets up a lemonade stand with Jessie, but not today. He decides he wants to invite Scott Spencer over to set up a lemonade stand, who he really does not like, just anyone but Jessie. Then, Jessie gets a fourth grader named Megan, and sets up a lemonade stand with her. Now, they're taking business away from each other. The race is on, who makes at least one hundred dollars by the end of summer vacation? Read LEMONADE WAR to find out. I really liked this book, I recommend it to anybody who is looking for an "easy read" with a life-long leson.
