in fact Ahsen :), dat's wat i too said, dat "books convey different feelings and sensations according also to whom reads them.."so some may like and some dislike.. i really dind't mean to be harsh and if i sounded so i apologise, thanks to God, as u too said, Freed of speech ;)
(sorry for delay in replyin but i don't visit shelfari so often:)..)
Hi.. God of small things has every meanig of its content on its title. Liking for a piece of work depends on how wide and deep one's horizon of perception about the surrounding world. And no matter who the reader is... a purposefully distorted, less dignified piece of work never attract booker prize.
i don't find it ridicolous..i think dat it shows how human's nonsense and stupidity can affect life..rest books convey different feelings and sensations according also to whom reads them..
Some of them I read while my stay at the Bloomington. But I read Mistress of Spice in Pakistan.
Ahsen I did not read About A boy and Aag ka Derya. But Ahsen do read Time Traveler's Wife, its great novel.
