I suppose I could tell you I'm an avid reader, but why waste your time? THAT should be obvious. If I didn't read much, or didn't like to, why would I be here?

Truth is, I've always been a book junkie. I've bought, read, and given away thousands of books after various relocations and mood changes have caused me to thin my personal... more »

    LOL!

Anything to do with puppies will get to me. (I am Dog Lover on this site too.)

All the queues are really backed up at the moment and I haven't been able to help much because I am having ISP problems. We will get to them as soon as we can.

    So sorry for the delay.

However, I feel that whining can be very therapeutic so feel free to go that route!

I'm having some system problems so I posted all this to the Librarians' team asking that one of them do this work. Shouldn't take too long.

Yes, being a fellow Sunshine State resident sealed the deal in you becoming my first Shelfari friend. Because, come on, all the sun and heat must increase our brain cells ten fold, right? ~sigh~ But then those are zapped by frustration after dealing with snow bird drivers and tourists. So, we're right back to being average.

I just finished Shelly Laurenston's Pride Series, and that's where I noticed your reviews. We agree about the books being so much fun and after what you wrote about her G.A. Aiken stuff, I've added those to my wish list.

I had been getting so confused about what books I'd read and still wanted to read. Then trying to remember when a new release was due in a series I'm faithful to reading. So I just knew there had to be a better way to catalog stuff than a Word list. I found Library Thing first and it was so un-user friendly, yuck. But Shelfari was so neat with its cute little book covers on a shelf. Anyway, the only thing I would tweak is the 5 star rating assignments. The two designations for dislike and hate more specifically. My problem is that I need more degrees to rate my positive preferences. I'd leave one star to generally encompass the "sucked" category. Liked, really liked and loved can stay but I need a choice for just "OK", does that make sense to you? I enjoy reading so much that I have quite a few degrees of said enjoyment! I'm sure you've read a book where you just say, "Ah, it was ok..." Especially when there are so many genres out there. When I read something that wasn't part of my preferred or typical genre but was still a decent book, that might be an additional reason to select an "ok." Anyway, thanks for listening to my rant. Hope your day isn't too blistering. ;-)

I just read your review for Eternal Seduction and it sounds really good so Im going to add it to my ever increasing to-be read pile :) I saw you have J.R. Ward's BDB books on your shelf have you read Lover Mine yet? I finished it over the weekend and loved it, I was originally a bit worried about Xhex matched with John but they were great together.

Hey Tracy, I meant to get back to you right after I finished reading STICKS & STONES to say thank you for recommending WARRIOR'S CROSS and CUT & RUN to me in the first place.

I bought both books a couple months ago right after you told me about them but just now got around to reading them. I read WARRIOR'S CROSS first. The first hundred pages were kind of slow to me. But after those first couple of chapters the story got more interesting and I liked it. So that's why I only gave it four stars.

But CUT & RUN? That book was beyond awesome. I loved it from the start. I loved Zane and Ty. They're both so messed up but that's what makes them feel so real and not just like some characters in a book. They feel like real people with real emotions.

And I loved STICK'S & STONES just as much if not more than CUT & RUN. Before I read this series the books I was most looking foward to reading in 2010 were J.R. Ward's LOVER MINE and the next in the Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs. But now FISH & CHIPS is the book I can't wait to come out. I just can't get enough of Ty and Zane! I love those guys so much. And I REALLY hope that there will be a fourth book after that.

My final take on Zero? I loved it! And I can't wait for the sequel to come out. I wish there were more books out there like it. I loved the relationship between D and Jack. And i liked that there was a lot of action in it besides just focusing on the relationship. It was an AWESOME read.

I love the BDB series for the same reasons you stated. BTW, was I the only one who wanted to see Butch with V?

Though I did like Butch with Marissa I could not stand Jane. And not just because she turns into a ghost. I didn't even like her when she was human. Couldn't stand her character at all.
