I too read DTB's but try and intersperse a KINDLE selection in between or vise versa. I love the KINDLE DX because it makes my reading easier (the eyes are going and arthritis makes it difficult to hold some books) I also like the fact I can pick up books and/or .pdf's for nearly nothing or even nothing by comparison to purchase costs.Good luck and happy readingW
I love the KINDLE DX but agree with you. Also some DTB's are les costly. I bbuy on line, at garage sales and library book sales at a fraction of the cost. Sometimes, Amazon or another on line site may have books (Ebooks) at low or no cost as well.
Yes and some are not on Kindle. I just ordered two hardcovers from Amazon yesterday!
We have at least 1000 books on our shelves, fifty percent history (husband's a historian). I have bought maybe 3 HB books since receiving our Kindle2 and KindleDX in June, only due to them not being on the Kindle and no ebook for them in the near future. I prefer the Kindle for ease of reading and less clutter (books lying around) that I have to pick up or dust later.
I too have a kindle and I read hardcover as well. I bought a KIndle DX several months ago and really like it.
