    Wow, you have a lot of stories to tell! Do you still listen to that BAG music, and other kinds of experimental / free jazz? Several friends and I run a performance space here in Chicago, and we focus on experimental music in our series.

    Good to hear from you. Yeah, the BAG book is fantastic. I met Oliver Lake last year when he came to Chicago, and he's the one who told me about the book. I just bought George Lewis' new book about the AACM, and that's amazing.

    Did you know a lot of the BAG people when you were in St. Louis in '70?
