    Hey, thanks! Don't worry, I have been reading other books quite similar to Kite Runner, though I have to admit that I have not added them to my shelf yet due to lack of time. I've been hearing a lot of good things about Kite Runner, so I'll definitely be reading it when I have the time.

    Between W&P and C&P, my vote is for Crime and Punishment. I think it is a more gripping story, more universal and timeless. (and not as long...)

    exactly!
    tht "disturbing" element has made up tht important role in tht book. but afterall, the naked truth of tht "disturbing" plot was tht one us readers should be dealth with.
    he's a good writer, nay?
