I haven't read book 4 yet but I know Bella has a baby in it. That is true about Anne Rice; I hadn't even considered her books because Rice was writing about vampires before this current vampire craze. Someone named Elaine Franti from Michigan sent you a letter to my address. I am going to forward it to you.
Melissa,I think they are pretty good but I think it is too old for teen lit. After you read it, I think you will understand. And get this, the writer is mormon. The romance parts are WAAAYY more adult than the first love they are supposed to be portraying.If I had a pre-teen to even mid-teen teenage daughter, I don't think I would want her to read it. A friend of mine read books 3 and 4 after she discovered what the books were about. Her 6th grader was well into book 3 when Nancy made her stop. They had several long conversations about the story and what went on in the books. The books are available at her school's library and some of the parents are upset about it.AFter you read them, let me know what you think.MH
