Hey, Jim---glad you are enjoying the book. I really enjoyed the point of view in that novel. I am the volunteer Information desk person at the Alameda Library on Fridays, and a couple of people asked about Mary, also, seeing me reading it. They checked it out, so we'll see what they have to say.No problem on the delay---the card group will be over here in early January, so I'll just pass the book on then. Nice to hear from you. J
Hi Jim, I just finished Pillars on Saturday! Lots of twists and very good. Have purchased the sequel, World without End. Haven't started it yet.
Jim S, I am so glad you bought the Pillars of the Earth! I am about half way into the book. Hurry and start it so we can discuss!
Jim, I am reading 3 books now, so not fast on any one, but am about half way thru Island Lost in Time---LOVE IT! Modern people observing ancient ones, and vice versa---what a riot! Thanks for the suggestion.
Look like both Shelfari and Amazon rated it 4 star, but no one comments on it on Shelfari, so no telling. I will take your word for it, and not seek it out. Thanks. Jane
Hi Jim! Welcome to Shelfari. This is a great place to discuss books and share what you are reading. What area of the Middle East are you interested in? What drew your interest to the area? Take care!
Hey, Jim! I didn't see you in the Armageddon group a couple days ago. I was thrilled to see they recommend new ones----no end to the joy!
