Hi pretty woman,U are so wonderful i have gone thru your profile and see you as one of the best lady on earth im no body just a hustla from ghana west africa who has decided to have or hook up with some one tell me if you are ready to be mine or friend
Hey I finished Sunshine. I enjoyed it very much, though there are a few things I wish the author divulged more on such as was Mel anything other than an ex biker with more ward tatoos than one should have unless a powerful sorcere? In the 4th section when she is fighting Bo and she has visions of all her friends and family and then sees Mrs. Bialsky (sp?), her friend and Mel at the coffee house and they all look at her, was that real or fake and if it were real what was the deal? I would've liked more to the Goddess of Pain. The book built her up and then when she had her chance to shine she didn't do more than menancingly ask some questions. Overall though, I enjoyed it. Do you have any other good vampire books? You know I'm a sucker for them.
Great thanks. You know I never really read any of Nora Roberts books. I've only read the ones she has written as J.D. Robb.
Let me know what you think of that Nora Roberts Wedding Quartet series that you just posted. I was looking that over online a day or two ago.
Hey, okay so far I read Blood and Chocolate. It was okay. I didn't really get into it that much. It felt a little too young adultish for me and it kind of bothered me that the main character was only just turning 16 and the sexual context to her with older men weirded me out a bit. I know I know it's fantasy/werewolves but still. I just finished Garden Spells. Now that I enjoyed a lot more. You were right it definitely had a nice whimsical touch to it. The story kind of reminded me of what I remember of the movie Practical Magic. I never saw the whole thing but it seemed similar. Do you recommend another book along the lines of Garden Spells? If so I'll probably want to borrow it. I just started Sunshine tonight. I'm not that far into it, but like I've said, Vampire stories are a guilty pleasure of mine so I'm sure I will enjoy it. After that I'll just have The Host left, but I'm going to save that, maybe, for a little later. Thanks for letting me borrow so many books (as if I don't have a bunch to read on my shelf already!!).
Great! I definitely want to read that one.
Hey I think I'm ready to borrow The Host soon. Is that cool?
So what did you think of Shopaholic and Book of Lost Things?
This is so cool, because my book/reading addiction just wasn't enough. I've realized I can't remember many of the books I've read. Ahhh, any excuse to reminisce over long-forgotten books!! Thanks for the invite!
Feel free to do the reviews too. It's not an original idea. haha. I like it better when someone writes a little about why they liked/disliked a book. It saves time from having to look it up for a description.
Alright so I decided to start my book list. I was going to wait until the end of January, but since you made yours I couldn't wait to do mine. It's called: JC's 2009 Ongoing Book List and Reviews. I've decided to take it one step further and write mini reviews on the books rather than jus list them like last year. I'm hoping to spur more discussions (or not).
Found it and replied. If you received messages about when you get notes on here you should be taken straight to it.
You too. Have fun tonight, be safe!
Alright sounds good. I just started a new book last night so I should be done in time and even if we're off a little that's okay.
Oh, one more thing. Let me know when you plan on reading the Book of Lost Things. I'll read it at the same time and then we can try talking about it. Thought that might be fun.
Hey Cool. Good job. I got 60 and I'm going to try to match it. Here goes nothing! Happy New Year!
Yes. In the last story it's about the rape of a poor woman and the little girl that was conceived. The mother unable to provide for the little girl left her in the garden. The choice the little girl needs to make is to stay in the garden and go to the shed that is like a house or go through the door where she knows her mother will be.
Well... They never really confirm whether the 3rd girl was a half sister or cousin. You can kind of assume it was both if you think about it. haha. The twins might have been through incest between the brother and sister which would make her a half sister and she was conceived through rape of some other woman; which would make them cousins too. They never say for certain that adeline and emmeline were not of March blood.
