I have not read any of this author's books. Let me know how good they are. I am starting a Barbara Taylor Bradford series. Good luck.
Not on my page...I wonder why. There is no recommend area anywhere on my home page.
hmmm. I don't see where the recommend area is back at.
hi,.! I would like to recommend J.R. Ward to you,.i think you'll like her books... :)
STILL LOADING THE SACKETTS UGH
YES YES YES

I hate that I can't see what you've recommended to me on my page...what's up with that?
Thank you SO much for joining us at the Paranormal Mystery group. Please feel free to join us in any discussion (no matter how old). You may also open up a new discussion. If it is Off Topic, please indicate "OT" in the discussion title. You are also very welcome to add *pertinent* books to the group shelves. This group, after all, was originally opened up so that we can steal great reading ideas from the paranormal mystery sub-genre. A discussion or description of said book(s) would be much appreciated too but not at all mandatory. Nothing really is mandatory on this site (except for people being nice and getting along). Shelfari, after all, is for fun. See you on the boards!
Yes,I loved it
I finished Beyond the Highland Mist, and it has the Queen of the Fae in it, Queen Aibioeal (sp?) and Adam Black, Prince of the Fae. I enjoyed it! When I was reading the Fever books, I was almost sure Barrons was Fae, a very powerful one, maybe royalty whose glamour was so strong Mac couldn't penetrate it. But then in the caves when he saves her from Meluce, and she tears his shirt off in a fit of passion, you find out he's covered with tattoos so he must need those for protection. Maybe a druid...the sound in the garage, at first I thought he had a dragon but maybe he's captured a Hunter? Someone else suggested this to me, I didn't think of this myself. Maybe this is where he gets his information about the fae and it's relics.
Have you read any of KM Homings Highlander books? The Faery Queen and the Dark Lord are in these books. It's not necessary to read them to understand the Fever series but I'm reading them anyway since I enjoy her writing. So who/what do you think Jericho Barrons really is? And what is the baying noise in the garage? ^^
Hi, I just saw that we are reading the same book, Bloodfever. Do you know when Faefever comes out? Are you enjoying book 2? Do you think Mac and Barrons will end up together? Darkfever was the first book I've read by KM Moning, I've since gotten her first Highlander book^^
After I reset my password, I finally figured out how to add books. I am making progress.
I have read the entire series except the last book. I hope to get a copy of it soon. Dresden is not a vampire hunter. He's a wizard that puts his skills to use as a private detective. The story does involve vampires though. He's just not a hunter. I don't really know what else I can say without giving too much away. I went into the series not knowing anything about it and I was glad I did. I do recommend them. They're really fun reads and Butcher has a fun sense of humor. I hope you enjoy them! Let me know what you think after you read the first one!
Indy got kicked out by Patch. Doesn't Patch look like he could kick Indy's butt? Man, oh man, he gives me hot flashes. ;)
Yeah, the Sweep series is YA. I really liked the first few. I think there are 15 of them or so. It's about a girl who gets involved with Wicca and finds out she's a blood witch. Each book gets more supernatural. I think I've read 5 of them. I need to start on them again. They're fast and easy.
So, why should I read Outlander? I'm not big into time travel, but I've got lots of people lately telling me to read it. You know me, would I like it?
Thanks for the info about The Other Boleyn Girl--I'll have to see how far into it I was (I read a good bit and then took a break from it for some reason)....I should be okay either way though because I've read Innocent Traitor and The Last Wife of Henry VIII recently (both great books, btw) and each covered a large period of his life
Hey girl. See, I can see what you're reading and see if I want to try anything. Jen
