Hi Valerie, You might enjoy reading my new stylish noir LAKE CHARLES is set in the Smoky Mountains. Publishers Weekly and Kirkus Reviews gave it a thumbs up. Best regards, Ed Lynskey
Catcher in the Rye is awesome so far. I've added a plethora of books on WWII to my shelf that I plan to read. I'll recommend the ones I think you'll like.
Yeah, I think I can handle it. The book I'm reading right now, The Plague Dogs, is pretty graphic as well, but I don't get too squeamish. If the violence is only a couple parts or so, I should be fine (it's not as if it's a Stephen King novel).
I know it's an adult book and mom was a little uneasy when I mentioned the title, but I want to read No country for Old Men. I just wanted to run that by you, just in case.
The Princess Bride book was really funny. Believe it or not, the movie stayed fairly true to the book. There were only a few parts missing and it wasn't that big of a deal. I plan on reading The Rising Tide after I finish Plague Dogs.
