escape the madness says
I have been reading very sporadically this summer. I read The Diplomat's Wife, which was WONDERFUL. I actually stopped reading The Widow of the South to read it. You really must read the Kommandant's Girl first, though it is not required. Diplomat's wife will make more sense if you have read the Kommandant's Girl. They are both easy reads and just a joy (subject matter aside- WWI) to read. They were both full of twists I couldn't have thought of -- and is probably why I am not a published author.
Are you in Madison? There are a number Ginger C members and I want to be sure I have the right one. I imagine the Rick Bragg books make you the Ginger I kickbox with - am I right? :)
