I moved to the USA about 5 years ago after I fell in love with a wonderful baseball player I met in Italy, who later became my husband.... I love books because they realx me, stimulate my imagination and take me to places I never thought of. In High School I fell in love with literature and classics of any sorts. I have read many and plan to read many more.
When I moved to the USA, it took me a little bit to get adjusted to read in English, but in the end I learned to enjoy books in their original language with not too many problems. Actually, it's helping me to improve my vocabulary.
I love to meet new people, spend time with family and friends, cook, travel and shop. Obviously I love to read, even tough I don't always have time to do it. I am trying to get back on track now that I am a stay-at-home mom.
I hope I will be able to make new friends who share the same passion for books, and to be given advises about good books out there.
