Hi, no problem :) thanks for following back! I'm enjoying it so far... but to be honest I'm only on chapter 2! It's the first one by him I've read too. I've always been more of a Stephen King guy but decided to diversify a bit, ha!

Sorry for the delayed response, as I was quite packed up today with some work.
Regarding your question on favorite book/author, I could not pick a one, specifically.
I have a long term bondage with books and every time, I read about a book/author, I gather something.
Reading some crime novel has given some thrill, reading Robin Sharma books also gave some thrill.
    So, I read variety.
    :-)

    How about you?
Are you currently reading any book?

I was impressed by your collection of books and I liked your profile too.

Hey Laura, I'm great thanks, just got back from a mini break in Dublin so very relaxed. Hows yourself? New year treating you well so far? Hmm... well I'm reading a fair few, one I really like is Gilead by Marilynne Robinson (written as a dying minister's last letter to his young son). You reading anything you love atm?

well to be truthful i found it really hard to focus on this book, it lacked interest in the beginning but i didn't want to give up on the book especially since i been hearing so much about how good the trilogy is... i guess the middle of the book is where it gets interesting and the end goes to okay, idk maybe i need to read it again someday and really pay attention haha. I decided to watch the movie and it was soooo good! and understood the story better by watching it. Give it a try, i think its different for everybody

After I spoke to you yesterday, it started snowing! Couldn't believe it, but it looks so treacherous out there today, deffo gonna wrap up inside, with a nice cup of tea and no housework! Life's too short, eh? I'm studying philosophy and politics, got a particular module - epistemology - which is currently driving me crazy. How you finding The Obsession? I've never read any Catherine Cookson, I think I'd like her stuff but it's just finding the time. I'm reading 'North and South' by Elizabeth Gaskell right now, enjoying it so far. :) Oh I'm hoping for xmas books too but never know what to ask for, debating whether to ask for a Kindle instead, you seen them on Amazon? I really really want one, so handy.

No didn't get the album yet, hoping someone buys me it for Christmas as I am a poor student at the minute. In Belfast, there's been hardly any snow, just loads of ice and minus temperatures :( But I find snow quite stressful anyway lol, what it's been like in the West Midlands? Oh house work, don't mention that, my unhoovered fall is just crying out for attention, maybe later lol.
