“back cover :""Can't you see how much loving someone hurts?"
Justin de Wolfe's words were prophetic for Caroline Maxwell. Drawn to Justin by a fierce mutual passion, the usually sensible Caroline married him knowing that he couldn't love her—just as she couldn't help loving him.
She accepted the hazards of marriage to the arrogant, magnetic lawyer. But Justin's reaction to Caroline's eager announcement of her pregnancy shocked her to the core.

what i think: i won't add anything so that i won't spoil the book for you.
but believe me it's a veeeery good one. very emotional indeed. i veeeery rarely read a harlequin novel because USUALLY they're not as emotional and satisfying as i want them to be (i do not mean any disrespect; it's my own personal opinion from my own personal experience). i thank goodness that i decided to read it anyway because it's veeeeeeery good and very satisfying i might add. i dare, yes i dare you, not to cry through reading it and i dare u not to smile whole-heartedly after reading it...
if u love an alpha scarred hero who really loves his woman but who doesn't dare to acknowledge his feelings because of his past personal wounds that left him very vulnerable, then this book is surely a keeper for you.
if u love a really strong heroine (she is certainly not a moron or a tstl heroine) who would do anything to protect what is hers and believe me the things or the events that she was supposed to deal with are outrageous, then this book is really for you.
and if you crave, like i do, veryyy emotional and satisfying endings, then this book should be yours.”
