Hey there! I came across a tread you started quite awhile ago... looking for a non-romantic vampire book? Try Sunshine. It was really good, and very different, no real romance to speak of.
I'm reading the sequel now. Got 2oo pages left, it's thicker than the first and so far it's taken me 2 weeks to read.
I love POTE as well, it certainly is the best book I've ever read(excluding the HP series ) so have you read the sequel?
nm I see you have read twilight...well maybe you would like Black Dagger Brotherhood then....LOL teach me to run off at the mouth instead of checking out your shelf first.
BTW I have read The Gargoyle and found that it was FANTASTIC!!
If you aren't into the Vamp romance you won't like the Black Dagger Brotherhood or Twilight...Just wanted to let you know in a Note instead of on the thread.
BTW - I started reading Gargoyle - only 60 pages into it and sorry to say - I'm not digging it. Have you seen the musical Wicked? I love both the music and the story of the musical - but was not as enthusastic on the book - because it is much different than the musical. Can't find your post, but also not sure what book you are referring to with your comment:Tell me it gets better, please! I got up to page 27 and had to put it down as it was just so gross...but the style of writing is interesting. At what point does the icky stuff end?Let me know please.
I'll have to check out Labyrinth too and the Twilight books! I'm not sure if I'd like Gargoyle if it's TOO gory. We'll see how it goes.I think you'll really enjoy The Historian! It's one of those books that I would like to add to my home library!!

Hi Jo Anne! The Historian was one of my favorite books last year!!! I'm adding The Gargoyle and Sepulchre to my To Read list! Thanks!! I haven't read any of the Twilight series. Would you recommend it?
