Haha, well, I'm glad you enjoyed my little rant. I wrote it really late last night, so I'm not really sure what I said but yeaaah. I like vampires ok. They can be fun. I got curious about Twilight because of my sister. A bunch of her friends were reading it, and she was kind of curious but she also thought it was kind of stupid, so she didn't read it. It wasn't until the movie cast was decided that she finally read the books; she was spurred to find out more because she likes Robert Pattinson, who is playing Edward (he was also Cedric in the Harry Potter movies).
I sent you a note about BD, but I forgot to add that Havemercy, on the other hand, was quite good. That's the book I made the mistake of starting before reading BD (a mistake because it was so much better that stopping and starting BD made BD that much worse). I stopped a few chapters in to switch to BD, and then I finished it after BD to distract me from that bad taste I was talking about. XP
Yes and no. Yes--in that I'm into Twilight for the LULZ, but no, in that I don't hold the series to be the Best Thing EVARRR. And no, in that while there was LULZ to be enjoyed in the first 3 books, Breaking Dawn left mostly a bad and bitter taste in my mouth.
