the "BEGIN" in your last posting suggests some ego-attachment to your path. I know that a Course in Miracles doesn't enter our lives until we are ready for it. I was asking if you had used the workbook because I found it to be the most useful tool for advancing my own spiritual development.
omg! from ur picture... i thought u were like 15-18... wow... is that a picture of u? i'm going into sixth grade... and i am sooo not "small" i am 5"9!!!!! this summer i am playing basketball... were going to nationals!!!! YAY! ummm yeah those are my plans... go down to my vacation house a lil... yeah... today we had like the placement for a tournament that will be held sunday.... we won 2 outta 3... not to good- not too bad... but in the state tournament this team beat us up (by like 13) and that has been our biggest loss all season :'( we lost by 6 to them 2day... so yeah... basketball... a little more basketball... oh camps- basketball camp! my friend from new orleans will be visiting!!!! :D and otherwise i will just kinda walk around... town.... (lol too young to do that in the big city i live in!) bye byechar

Hi Laura,To this day, I have never finished the text. For me, the work was much more important than the knowledge. Hi Laura,You have read some very powerful books. Have you done the 365 lessons of "A Course in Miracles"? Learning to be a loving presence under all circumstances without the dsire for any outcome is a gateway to your spiritual path. Acknowledging that we are always doing the best that we are capable of doing based on our level of consciousness is a way to be kind to ourselves and others.
That's a good adive. I always think a lot. ( I am not feeling well these days at all) :(

Dearest friend, Laura,Thank you so much for being there for me. You have no idea how I feel after reading your comments. I am really trying to open my eyes and see the invisible and hear the silence. Your explanation is going to lead me somewhere. I know...yes, I know that I will soon start feeling His presence inside me. You know, today I came across a very interesting and TOUCHING quote. It said : "Among all the people who climb up the hill to pray for the rain, only those people who take umbrellas with them, believe in the power of God." This quote was so strong to me. I felt sooo strange after hearing it. It made me ponder a lot. It has a very deep meaning, at least to me. I am gaining so many insights from the things you and other friends say. I am so glad to join Shelfari and find so many wonderful friends here. I know God is allocating a very special prize for everyone of you who are trying to help me. I can't keep back my tears while I read the things you tell me about God. You told me "everything, in every way, is ALWAYS working toward your greater good. This is your right, provided and protected by God. Close your eyes and feel the love." I will never forget it and will always have it with me through the different phases of life. I know you are also right about religion. Sometimes I feel how free I am for not believing in any religon, and for not acting the way it says. Yet then I feel I need one in my life! Wierd I guess. I am glad to feel the way I feel now, because as you said I am experiencing something valuable in my life and I hope I will soon get satisfatory results.
