    Hi, sorry have not been in contact for a while., I have so many 'friends' and not enough computer time Am rerading the lates in 'The People' series about ancient Native ASmericans, stories based on archaelogical finds or sites. The I will read myu daughter's latest Merry Gentry book about the lands of Faerie by Laurell K. Hamilton.

    Well, my birthday didn't exactly go as planned... my son had to go and get sick and spoil everything... very inconsiderate of him!! Haha!!
    But yep, this afforded me a bit of extra time for books, music, and movies... so it wasn't all bad!!

    Thanks for the welcome! So far I am really enjoying shelfari. Any group recommendations? I didn't read the whole outlander series, just the first one. I read it quite a while ago- I liked it well enough- but it was a little too much like a romance novel for my taste- which must have been why I didn't finish the series. I know she has a new book in the series coming out this fall.

    No, most of my family on my dad's side were from Oklahoma and Texas area.
    There are lot more Cox's out there than I once thought!
    BTW, I love your avatar! I've had a dream of someday visiting Madagascar and seeing Lemur's in the wild!

    Don't let this cat's little pink nose fool you. He is our outside perimeter guard (well, he thinks he is! LOL) There is one postal worker who refuses to deliver our mail, if Whiskers is on the front porch. I keep teasing my husband that I'll make the cat a nice little green beret, just like his.

    I was just thinking about you too lately~ and know that it's about time we got back in touch!
    We had Mother's Day too yesterday, (which was Sunday, must be Sunday for you today?)... we celebrate it on the second Sunday in May, regardless of the date... what a coincedence ours falls on the same day (I think it is a different time of year in other countries)... so Happy Mother's Day to you too :)
    So looking forward to your e-mail... I will be looking out for it :)

    I just read that you live in Jasper and raise squirrles. I live in Ocala and work at Silver Springs doing the Bird of Prey shows. I also get to work with three sulfer crested; Lali, Frito & Cedric; so I think its funny that yours answers to Satan's Parrot. I also do rehab work and have raised plenty of squirrles. Right now I have two baby racoons who don't even have their eyes open. Wish me luck :]
