I love to read, but then don't we all!! ha
My shelf only reflects the books I have read this year. Don't be fooled by the few I have on my shelves. I am a firm believer in the first one to die with the most books read wins!!! So let's get reading! more »

The discussion has been posted for the Good Reads November selection, Mistress of the Art of Death.

We're doing something different for December to wrap up the year. We've posted a list of all of the books nominated that weren't selected with the hope you'll find the time in December to read one of the books you voted for that didn't win and, then, share your opinion with us! Feel free to also share your thoughts on any of the books you've already read.

Hi there! I'm sorry to hear you've had a rough summer and am hoping things are looking up. :)
I am loving everything I'm learning and am keeping a blog about some of the stuff. If you're interested in taking a look at it, let me know and I'll private message you the address to it.
Right now, I'm reading Of Mist & Bees. Pretty good so far. I don't read near as much as last year, obviously, but there are so many great books on my shelf that it's hard to resist!

Hi Kris, thanks for your note. I'm so sorry about your loss. Of course there are more important things than a book challenge so take your time and I hope to see you around again when you're ready.

The June Good Reads selection is The Uncommon Reader by Alan Bennett which has been described as "Briskly original and subversively funny," by Publisher's Weekly. We hope you will join us in reading and discussing the book.

Are you interested in nominating books for the June Good Reads selection? The only guidelines are 4-5 books that you think would be provide a good read and discussion! Previous winners are on the group shelf. Let me know if you're interested.
