    Reading is about to get radically better! RAGBRAI came through yesterday and I can have my life back. SPent about 6 hours today working on clean up and detail crap, and I am so glad to have it over. MAybe I can read more than 3 pages without falling asleep!
    I am trying to read Enchantment by Orson Scott Card as it meets both Russia and fairy tale tags, but I can't seem to get anywhere. Maybe I can concentrate now -

    Hope things are good for you. We had hellacious storms again Sunday night - 80 mph straight-line winds, lots of damage around us, but we came through OK.

    I have the Book of Lost Things. I'm planning on reading it for the mythology tag. If I ever get there that is. I'm on medieval right now. I'm reading Lady and the Unicorn for that. Have you read it? So far I think its pretty good. I love the descriptions of the medieval process of making tapestries.

    Awesome! I really enjoyed that series Kris! It is a light mystery series and gets better in the last few books. I enjoyed the character of Bailey and that the author Kate White puts Cosmo tips in her books!

    hey there! I am reading super slowly too. I'm still on my first book. I guess bouncing back from burnout is taking its toll. I went back to Ohio to visit my family for the holiday break, so that is another excuse for not reading. It was fun though. I don't see them nearly as much as I should. You only just turned on the ac? Mine has been on at least a month now. Humidity has reached an all new level today though. Yuck! Hope you are doing well in your neck of the woods.

    Hi! I have had a wonderful weekend. Been going almost non stop since friday with family and friends lol. Today went in the jeep with my brother and some friends. I have been so slow reading its almost an embarrassment after all those books for LTS! I hope your weekend has been fun as well! What have you been doing besides tv?

    I don't think the cross-listing search is very reliable yet. I'm still going through the list of 100 pages when I search. Its not efficient, but I haven't found a better option yet

    if you type in just 'sociology' you are going to get books with the word sociology in the title. But if you type in 'shelfari tag:sociology' instead, you will get everything that is tagged sociology. As far as a way that is better than going through pages of books to find one you like, I haven't found a better method yet.

    Just posted this at the clubhouse....I, too, will miss this place! I wish you all lived in my town so we could form a book club together. I've not met anyone in my area who shares my passion like all of you do!
