I'm a voracious reader of romance, fantasy, SF, and any non-fiction that strikes my fancy. With some graphic novels and manga thrown in for good measure. I love to cook, fold origami, and am always looking for new books. Fairy tales and urban fantasy especially, but I'll try anything that looks interesting.

E-books save me when there's no money for books end of month. I just go online and search out books. Favourite websites are scribd.com and manybooks.net.

Ever read Ariel? I would like to read more like that. Its about a Unicorn and her companion as they travel about the world after a change that allowed magical creatures to come out of hiding and the world is devastated.

I haven't- I'll add that too. Have you read Zel by donna jo napoli? She has quite a few good retellings as well. Hmm...I'm not familiar with that site. I'll check it out! I mostly look for random books at the library with a title that might interest me, or if I really can't find anything, I close my eyes and pick one.

Yeah, I've actually read most of those once upon a time books. Have you read all of them? It's an entire series of retold fairytales by various authors. See, I do this other book site called goodreads, and most of my books are posted on there- I'm still in the process of moving them over to here. Patricia Wrede is good, but I have to say I haven't read Mercedes Lackey's book yet. I'll have to try that out!

    Richelle Mead has two series:
    -Vampire Academy series
    -Succubus series
As for Nalini Singh, I have only read one short story by her of the Psy/Changeling series, and I loved it!!! I want to read more of her works but haven't come across any in the library or in the bookstore...

I'm almost done with "Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson. Again, a YA book, but I highly recommend it. I'm looking forward to starting "Fever" by the same author when I have finished this one. I have been having so much fun with YA books, it may be awhile before I get back to reading "grown up" books. *LOL*
