  • iWant : my journey from addiction and overconsumption to a simpler, honest life

Close intimate look at Jane's life...before becoming sober, and now, living a life of sobriety. She has stopped drinking, became vegan, and came out as gay and this has changed her focus and momentum of life. She is very open and honest, telling her story straight from the heart. She is now an active environmentalist and animal rights advocate. Reading this makes you look at your life, and hope to achieve as much as she has. Brave, intimate and inspiring.

This had a good plot but too often the explicit sex and sex acts drove away from the story. Otherwise this would have been awesome.....

  • Tunnels (Book 1)
    • Rated 5 stars

Did you ever feel like you didn't belong?? Even in your own family?? So begins the adventure of Will Burrows, a 14 year old boy who finally finds a common ground with his father-achaeological excavations. When his fathers ventures into their secret find, a tunnel into the underworld, he never returns. Will must outwit and get through an underground Colony, called the Styx, to find and get back his father. This is an excellent read with a unique and interesting plot. I recommend this book often, and those that do buy it, always come back for book 2, The Deeper.

I fell in love with this book for its charm and would recommend it to any age group, although it is a childrens book. Dom Delouise, this is an excellent monument to his talents and his wonderful way of entertaining.

If only all childrens books could capture such enthusiasm and present it in such an original and witty way. A fun way to learn or teach orchestra to a younger audience without losing their attention. Highly recommend. I think it would be great reading for a young music classroom!
