I often place books on my "I'm reading" shelf that I have not started but I know I will be reading in the next couple of weeks, so no I really can't read 5 books at one time. I do this to keep myself a little more organized and so that I know which books I have planned to read for my challenges!
I am a mom of 2 beautiful children. My daughter is in high school and my son is in elementary school.
I love the beach, camping, and traveling...notice all things that go well with a good book! I love anything that gets the family outside and away from the television and video games.
I love to read, but I guess we all do thats why we're here. I am a sap that loves a good romance, especially historical romance. My first HR was The Falcon and the Flower by Virginia Henley. I like mysteries, paranormals... give me a good ghost or vampire book anytime .I like to read YA, mainly in the fantasy department. I often get so engrossed in the story that I am reading that I forget about what is going on around me.
I have several books on my shelf that I have not rated yet... this is not due to dislike of the book but I either read it so long ago that I don't remember or I just haven't gotten around to that one yet. I have only not finished one or two books...normally if I find that I don't like a book I will force myself to finish no matter how painful.
