I have always loved to read. In 2008, I surpassed my challenge to myself of reading 50 books- I read 53! In 2009, I set the goal of 60 books and was on track until I got engaged... I only made it to 50. I managed to get to 51 books in 2010, even with wedding planning and moving. I reached my highest number in 2011- 56 books. In 2012, I... more »

    Hi Liz
from across the pond in England,
Your reading is impressively prolific. Far more than me!

I see how much you enjoyed 'Before I go to Sleep' by S.J Watson. It's a great debut novel.
I agree it is a 'very cool book' as you say.

I’m searching for someone like you who appreciates the more original and interesting fiction that might be interested in trying out my novel trilogy "The DEAD LOOP". It is easy to read, emotive and a unique psychological thriller mystery about a man that dies every single day but has no idea why.

My first Shelfari reader wrote on Amazon US: ‘one of the most unique and original story plots that I have read in quite a long time... There is just something about the idea and the writing combined that from the very first few pages grabs you by the hand and tugs you along to see what comes next and fires your imagination to begin trying to figure out why it is happening.’

Part 1 is free on Kindle every 18 days or so, or $1.25 normally.
Or it’s free all the time if you have Kindle Prime!

If it intrigues you at all and want to check it out, I would very much appreciate any feedback.
I promise you that you won’t regret it!

    Best wishes,

    Jason

I see that you want to read "Sing You Home." I own it if you are interested in borrowing! (Oh, and my copy comes with a CD of the music showcased in the novel.)

I love the picture of Hector! Haha!
P.S. You totally creamed me in the reading department last year. I only made it to 17...I need to stay more focused this year!

but maybe not for long. doesn't seem to have much of a point...

i've been meaning to ask you, if you read the same book twice, does it count twice towards your 60 books for the year? because i've read the very hungry caterpillar quite a few times...

I don't think I'll have much space for extra books, the only one I'm definitely bringing home is a Jodi Picoult that was too depressing for me to recommend, but I can search my shelves when I get home to find stuff :-)

I am really enjoying Handle With Care...I'm about 1/3 of the way through right now and as usual...whenever I read her books I get so engrossed in reading them that I can't wait to finish it! So far I am not at all disappointed! I purchased a copy of the book so you can borrow anytime... How does the 16th or 17th work for you?

Liz, I had to laugh when I read your "info." I thought that since you accomplished your 50 books in a year you might take the year off. Instead, you raised the standard! Kudos! I am thinking about setting my own goal...

Kisscut is a bit wierd also, but it keeps you from putting the book down. I have it from the library, but would be happy to let you take it now to read if you would like. Let me know!

Hi Liz, I just added several books because I came across my printed 2004-2005 reading list from MMA. There are some good titles, to bad that I cannot read that many books in a normal day. Adding more tomorrow. Love and Kisses, Mom

I'll have the Hansel and gretel one for you this weekend, we need you to see if it is to adult for high school. Have a wonderful day. Love and kisses, Mom
