We were just discussing that this morning. I have yet to read it, but have the "Matt's Notes" version down.

You're such a harsh rater of books! OH and I see you've got Kavalier & Clay and The Final Solution here... if you haven't read Yiddish Policemen's Union I'd skip it. I thought it kinda stunk.
we agree that it has been too long. we should do something about that. i mislabeled audacity of hope. i am still reading it but so far so great! any rushdie is going to be good. if you want to start out with one of the less complicated books try haroun, but really they are all good. i just finished shalimar not too long ago and that was really interesting and has a lot to do with the present climate of the world. let me know what and when you choose one.
