Joylene B

Joylene was born in Manitoba, grew up in Haney, and raised her sons in Pr. George, BC. She and her husband built a cottage on Cluculz Lake in 1992. The jury is out whether they'll retire there or not. Canada is a beautiful place & they could end up anywhere. Which is good because life should be an adventure. Joylene is the author of Dead Witness.

On the Run isn't a bad book, but it's slow.

Hi Joylene, thanks for being a friend.
I'm trying to find a book called Wind From Danyari by Laurel Lamperd, (an IWW member) published by Wings ePress Inc. October 08 --- ISBN 918-1-59705-651-9 --- I've tried the various search programs on Shelfari to no avail. Any ideas why I can't find it? Too recently published, maybe?

    Hi Joylene, I've found you!
I'm still getting my head around this one --- like everything else all it needs is a little practise. Can I add you to my friends?

it will get easier. Type the title in the search window at the right hand top. When you find the book, click on I've read this. Then go up to My Shelfari, scroll down to my shelf & you'll see it on your shelf. Repeat for each title.

    Hey, Joylene -

Just read 2 books by Oliver La Farge - "Laughing Boy, A Navajo Love Story" and "THe Enemy Gods", also about Navajos. I love his style - especially in "Laughing Boy". I think my all-time favorite book is "Animal Dreams" by Barbara Kingsolver. How 'bout you?

yes, Beaufort is probably 1 1/2 from us so we go a few times a year. This was when they had the Pepsi Sail America of Tall Ships. You are very observant! how'd you guess?
