Could you tell me if Julie & Romeo is based on a family feud? I'm in a reading challenge and picked this book to meet a requirement like that (feud), and just noticed you're reading it. Thanks!
Hi Ri, I'm just down to the last 10 pages of Three Cups. I find that reading nonfiction is always slow going for me. I think with this book is was the names of people and locations that slowed me down. I'm not sure what I think right now. After 9/11 happened in the book my feelings changed. I guess when you have intimate knowledge of a place and its people, as Mortenson does, you have a unique prospective. I guess I wanted him to seem more in tune to the shock of 9/11 on Americans. Geeeez, I can't believe I just wrote that. I'm usually sooooo liberal.
