Somebody's Muse

Somebody's Muse

I am a married mother of two. I am a Massage Therapist. I have a great family with a few odd balls about. I have great friends, a fabulous time no matter what I do or where I go. And I love, love, love to read.(To my husbands dismay)
I sometimes get so involved in what I am reading, I forget about reality all together.

Vampires, Witches & Were’s all that
would like to invite you to participate in the ABC contest starting on July 1, 2008.
I will post a thread that has the letters of the ABC's list, then start your own thread for example mine would be Sherry's ABC's and list the books that you read with those letters has the first letter in any title of book, it doesn't have to be in the genre either. Each person will be responsible for sending me their points via the group email at vampireswitchesweresallthat@yahoo.com. For every book you read during the time period (until the next letters are posted) you will receive 10 points in the email you must list the title, author, and pages so that if there is tie, we will use page count to break the tie. Everyone is eligible to win, even admin's as a third party will be keeping track of the points for me...so post the books you read...I will post the first letters on July 1.

    As always happy reading..
Show me the books he loves and I shall know the man
far better than through mortal friends.

I noticed you had put out a recommendation request about Mercedes Lackey's book The Gates of Sleep. I know I'm biased because she's one of my favorite authors, but it is a great book. All of her books are great because the character development and dialogue is believable and fun. They're just great books!

    Hi there Somebody's Muse,
I wanted to say welcome to Play Book Tag (PBT) group. We hope to see you join in on the discussions and perhaps make one of your own. We have a Faqs thread but also feel free to ask questions should you have any. Everyone is nice and helpful in that gorup. Right now our Tag forJune is "Africa". So we each pick a book or books (up to you) about Africa, set in Africa, or written by and African writer. Then we do a mini review for everyone. Its a nice way to see if there a good book you may be missing or what ever. I also like the group because they are very involved and its a nice way to break out of your own genre once and a while and see whats going on in others. Happy Reading!

you choose your own books... there is a list of requirements like 1. title has a flower in it, another has a jewel, a number, a color, lord or lady, etc. there are 15 of them but you dont have to do all 15.

Oh yeah... do you want to join a reading challenge? 5,10, or 15 books between June 1 and Aug 31. The only requirement is that the titles go along with a list. Check out the group from my group list Readers of Romance Challenges... and no your books do not have to be romance.
