I'll try just about any kind of book though I tend to like historical fiction and murder mystery for fun. I also enjoy fantasy books, books with supernatural elements, thrillers, and sometimes sci-fi elements. I just started "Counting Sheep" by Paul Martin. I think it is the most interesting sleep book I've read so far, and also one of the most modern. If you're planning to read any of the sleep books on my shelf, this is the one I'd recommend.

I just sent your Jason a message about an HBO mini-series starting this weekend based on the John Adams book you are reading right now. It looks really cool - produced by Tom Hanks. Will tell you about it on the phone...

I saw that "Ozark Magic and Folklore" on your "owns" shelf. Have you looked at it yet? What did you think? I checked that book out from the library last month because I was interested in learning more about the blood-stoppers (read about them in a Farmer's Almanac reference book). The Ozark book was full of intersting tidbits, but I felt like the author was so disorganized in presenting the information; it was as if he'd taken his research notes and just strung them all together without any effort to clean them up, put them in order or make any sense out of them.

I got Wuthering Heights from the library and I've read two chapters so far. I had no idea it would be so funny!

Yes, the illustrations were done by English twin sisters - Janet and Anne Graham Johnstone. I loved their pictures too! Remember the White Cat story, with the cat kingdom? Did the book really get destroyed? I was wondering what happened to it.
