I haven't been able to finish Haunted either. That's sad for me because I really dig his stuff. He's pretty off though, you either love him or hate him. Skinny B!tch was awesome, right? Except for the chapter on slaughterhouses, even as a strict vegan I couldn't deal with that. I really liked Liars' Club, but have to admit I read it when I was much younger. I wonder if I'd still like it as much if I read it now. I've not really been reading lately, but listening to books on CD in my car. I drive 120 miles/day so I might as well make the most of it. I'm listening to a Chick-Lit novel right now, entertaining sorta, and keeps me awake so it's doing it's job! :)
Have you read Skinny B!tch yet? It's AWESOME!!!
Depends on what you're looking for. :) I just recently read the Diving Bell and the Butterfly - very quick read, some funny parts and some sad parts. Cherry and Liars Club from Mary Karr are two of my favorites - I believe they're based off of her actual life. The Myth of You & Me is a really good one too. If you want to borrow anything from me, we'll be back from San Diego next week, just let me know!
