Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die. There is a general explanatio of the group and some answers to FAQ under the discussion thread GROUP GUIDELINES. The past BOTM can be found pinned to the top for 2010 and 2009 if you want to search discussions you can join in. It will bring the discussions forward if you do. The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. July’s BOTM will be The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. The questions are pinned to the top of the discussion threads. We also have a Long Read consisting of books from the list that are greater than a 1000 pages. The group will be starting with War and Peace by Tolstoy.

Hi! I personally don't think so. I think you need to be ready for Osho's books and a person who have not yet experience a lot of spiritual growth might have the same fear as and will not continue reading or they might not be interested in reading his books, it will be like a foreign language to them - I believe it's a journey that will take you there. They will loose interest, because they do not understand the philosophy. Only a thought. What do you think?

Sorry Alexandra for not replying sooner but I have not been checking my mail recently. I have been doing quite a bit of reading but non of the books I've read are sci-fi !! I still stand by that !!
