Hi! I'm Monica! I'm going to tell you a little about myself.
I love Stephenie Meyer's books. I've read all of the books in the Twilight series, along with The Host and, yes, Breaking Dawn. I enjoy the Ranger's Apprentice series. If any of you wanted to know what I do in my pass-time, I read and read and read and read and read. And read. Did I mention reading? If you don't believe me, talk to Emily C or Micaela W. That'll be the only proof you'll need.
I've been playing the piano for almost 4 years, so I'm a lot past Mary Had A Little Lamb. For those of you who know what Moonlight Sonata is (movement 1 and absolutely not 3, I'm not that good, but Emily C is. Seriously), that's around my level of piano, maybe a little bit lower.
I also play the violin. Some people (like my sister) say that my violin skills sound like cats dying a very gruesome death but I don't think it's THAT bad. I've been playing that instrument for about a year and a half, but since I have such a great piano teacher, I'm more advanced than your usual novice. If any of you know what the Overture for Barber of Seville (Bugs Bunny) is, that's the level I'm at.
I play soccer, too. I'm usually a left forward (I'm not left-footed, but I just like to use my left and/or the outside of my right). No, I'm not the best at making goals, (unless the other team REALLY sucks, like the second to last people we played last season when I made six goals. That's five and a half more than I usually make. We won 14-0, by the way) but I usually do the passing to the person who makes the goal. So without someone like me to be there, the team probably wouldn't win. I'm so modest, huh?
Okay, so... I'm 12 years old. Now, before you think, "Wow, she must be really stupid!" I will tell you now: I am not. I'm a little smarter than my peers (unless Emily C is that peer, then I AM stupid). I read at a 10th grade level in only the 7th grade.
Please, please, PLEASE do not swear or anything on this page. I am very sensitive about that type of language, so please don't.
Oh, and if any of you people have read a freakin' good book lately, tell me about it! I love it when people recommend books to me, because they're usually a lot better than just picking up a random book.
And I love to make new friends, so if any of you are friendless or curious about me, just ask. I like meeting new people.
Congratulations! You made it to you end of this passage! Amazing.... Well, see ya later. :)
