well, there is murder, and poisoning, and suicide, and affairs, and executions. But he doesn't focus on it long, it's redeeming.
ya, i bet you would like it. There is a bunch of different translation i think, i'm not sure which one i'm reading(it's the one we own). You might want to check with your mom before you start reading it because there is some stuff, but not that much. I bet she has read it.
