Hello Sandy, YOU are walking on Miami Beach in Florida; the sky is dark and threatening to rain. You see a handsome Egyptian man walking down the beach carrying a leather pouch over his right shoulder, he looks back anxiously, as if someone might be following him but when he does so he stumbles and falls, spilling the seeds in his pouch. Asim hurriedly picks up the seeds, counting them as he drops each one back into his case. It starts to rain and he quickly rushes off, not knowing that he has lost a single seed. It starts to rain harder as you see something protruding from the sand, and then a beautiful red rose grows almost instantly. You must be seeing things. You approach the rose and when you bend down to examine it something amazing happens. “Quick,” says the rose. “Hide me before he comes back. I grant wishes and all the wishes he wants are evil ones. Please take me home with you.” You dig up the flower and head back to your hotel. Unrealistic or not my writing gives me hope. But with something like 50 000 books published every month it is a little discouraging. I didn’t think there were that many writers. But I continue to write and hope. You have a nice shelf. I hope you are reading lots of interesting books. Knights of the Dragon: Leander is under siege. It seems their wizard is dying. A dragon befriends a boy and hires knights to save his kingdom. Alexa is a match for any man, except perhaps for Stone; they’ve had eyes for one another for years, though neither will admit it. A dragon is born that turns out to be a wizard, a rare dragon indeed. And there are whispers of a boy wizard. It’s a tale of wizards, dragons, romance and knights. http://www.independentauthornetwork.com/a-j-gallant.html
I just looked. I am #5 for Rescue me.
I just got it this morning, so I can't wait to get started! The cover looked good! HA!
I just finished reading the first Monica McCarty book...LOVE! Can't wait to get the next one!
They are getting a bunch. I have lost track because I have so many at home that I want to read and have been looking up a few to read as I hear about them. I had put 4 on hold and another in hardcover....I got them ALL today! That always happens! I will check out Monica McCarty. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for the book! I am sending a few to you :-)
Thanks for the feedback, Sandy! I'm glad to hear from you as I was almost considering giving the series a miss. I think I'll definitely give the Cynsters a try now. :) Hopefully your computer problems resolve themselves quickly!

I just answered this question in my posting to you on the thread. But I said Yes I saw the movie. It was just kinda Meh. I didn't leave excited like I did when I finished reading the first book.
Guess what happened to me yesterday? All 4 books I had on hold, I got! I did get Fifty Shades of Gray last night. I am going to be a reading fool. If I can finish it in a timely manner, I'll send it to you so you don't have to wait so long. I hate when that happens!
Hi Sandy,I asked in group but it may be lost so I will ask here also. In a thread about unfaithful Heroes...you mentioned Stephanie Plum. I felt the same as you. I dunno bout you but I can't decide between Ranger or Morelli! LOLDid you see the movie that came out a little bit ago? One for the Money? Did you Like it?*sprinkles you with fairy dust and flutters off to find that bunny who has chocolate.................
Have you read Fifty Shades of Gray? I am on the waiting list to get it.
It might have been some that were reduced cost or free. I don't have a huge interest in most of what was posted...
I got 3 books in yesterday from the Library. Of course, they all come in at one time! I am loving the Victoria Dalh ones and I am reading the first Bastion Club and am really liking it so far. You request good books!! I told Jason last night, that I think they should give you first crack at the ones you want to check out first though!! It's only fair!
I didn't read the first one, I started with the 2nd not realizing it was a series. I am getting ready to start the first. Sounds like I read the best one first... :-)
I'm glad, too, Sandy. Before we read the Hathaways and the Wallflowers, I avoided this genre like the plague. This Bridgertons series is wonderful and I'm grateful my library has them, including the Kindle versions! Since I'm late to the series, there isn't a waiting list. I'm about 30% in on the second book and am enjoying myself. I'm also reading Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series, as well as Maya Banks' series of the same name. Both come highly recommended so I'll let you know how it turns out.
