I am the mother of two grown children, who I think are the best in the world. And I love my dog!! I love to read and have since I was a child. I also love playing tennis and being outside when the weather is nice. The best day for me would be being on a beach with a great book and a nice glass of wine.

    I have the Postmistress on reserve at the library. I will watch for your rating.
    Listening to Dragon Tattoo on audio was outstanding. The characters and pronunciation of the words made it become so real and exciting. You should
    pick a book that you have read and loved and then buy the audio on ebay.
    Just to compare and see what I mean.
    The second book in the series, I will buy on audio also. (I only listen to books on tape while driving)

    I did finish Mary, Mrs. Lincoln. And I did like it very much. Gave it a 4 star!
    Lets talk about it after you finish the book - would like your opinion on her state of mind....
    On the second cd of Loving Frank. Will let you knowwhen I finish it. So far, I am hooked. Loved The girl with the dragon tattoo. I had that on cd also. Glad I did.

    I loved Prayers! It was such a sweet story and I loved all the characters. I have never read any of her books but I will check and see if the library has any others.

    Received a call from the library yesterday. Prayers for Sale was waiting for me! Last night I put my other novel aside and started reading Prayers. I am already engrossed in the book. And thank you for letting me know your opinion.

    I just finished South of Broad by Pat Conroy. (my favorite author) I love his writing.
    You might want to check it out. I loved it.

    Noticed your reading Prayers for Sale. Love to hear your review on this book. Saw it at the bookstore and put it on my list for the library.

    So Susan, have you had any days on the beach with a glass of wine? I hope so.
    While in Vegas a few weeks ago, I had at Emeril's restaurant a glass of a
    Chilean Merlot wine that was so good, I wanted to take an extra bottle to our room.... Vacation with my best friend was fabulous.

    Hope your summer has been wonderful.
