Hi, Nicole. You should be able to get the book in Texas, at least be able to order it through your local library or bookstore. What I know of Texas is limited to the Sherman area north of Dallas. I had a good friend who lived there and I visited several times. The Tex-Mex food is unbeatable. We drove back to Massachusetts one time, through Pennsylvania on the way. Let me know what you think of the book when you've read it. Thanks. Peter (By the way, a couple of my fellow Kunati authors live in Texas, too.)
Dear Nicole: So, what brought you to move from California to Texas and why the change of heart? I'm from New England. Come up here. Or visit. I am an author. I just had my debut novel published and maybe it will take your mind off George Bush for a while. The novel is called HUNTING THE KING. The story revolves around a charismatic young woman named Molly O’Dwyer. Molly was five years old when she witnessed her mother's death in a fire. She never knew her father. After her mother's death, she was raised on the campus of a Jesuit college in Boston. Now an archaeologist, she is recruited to participate on a dig in war torn Iraq. As a scientist she is compelled to know who or what is buried under the sands of ancient Babylon. As a loyal Catholic, she is scared that what she finds may have devastating consequences for her faith. There is an awesome YouTube book trailer well worth watching to give you an idea of the power of the book. If you get the chance, I hope you'll take the time to watch it and let me know your feelings. Thanks. Peter

I don't know if I'm going to be able to really recommend you anything :P You already have George RR Martin, and he's one of my favorites to recommend...
I tried to get through your shelf, but my internet just doesn't want to load all the pics :P So if you don't have Neil Gaiman or CS Friedman, I'd check them out :)
