The perfect Russian Doll, a crafted pyramid. David Mitchell is not only a master at telling stories but also a master at playing with language. All his books are amazing but this is just perfect.

I read this book three times. There are so many details in it that one reading is not enough. The beginning is really tough but once you get caught in the story, you cannot let it down. Antonia Byatt is a master with the different voices in the book and takes you back and forth in time in a heartbeat. The ending is just memorable.

I fell in love with this book, it is just exquisite. The intertextuality with Wuthering Heights is so perfectly crafted. It is a must.

I just didn't like it, I couldn't get into the story at all. I had never read Ian McEwan before and I was very disappointed with such a boring and predictable story.

Intelligent, provocative, funny, sad, well-written, touches your heart and...all in all, LOVED it.

This is one of my favorite books, so much that I read it once a year. I fell in love with Smilla per se. It is a very European book, reading it I felt at home. It is intelligent and provocative. She is just corrosive but has a big heart and is passionate for what she believes in. It is an amazing book!

I loved this book. I started it a little suspicious because it had become a best-seller, but I was gladly surprised from the first page on. I totally loved the characters, the stories of "different loves". It is a book about losing, missing, loving, growin up, changing and looking for happiness.
Loved the final page, so beautiful.

I think it is one of the worst books I have ever read in my life. A nice adjective for it would be "BAD".

On of the most beautiful books ever written. A raw and sad story, but beautiful no matter what.

What life puts you through...and what a strong woman achieves. I met Kathryn Harrison and apart from being an amazing writer she is an amazing person.
