Did you like Evermore? I think I've seen it at the store and wanted to buy it. I just finished Graceling by Kristin Cashore on Wednesday and I loved it.

I loved Wicked Lovely. I think you and I might be on the same track. I was going to read City of Bones which is Young Adult.

I've liked the 3 books I've read so far. I may take a break though. I think earlier this month I read 7 of the Queen Betsy books and by the 7th was really tired of them and I don't want to get sick of characters because I am reading the books all in a row.

    Hello,
I just started a group called Autism Optimism and posted a discussion topic similar to your question. I'm hoping to get a collection of autism related books and books written by authors on the spectrum.
    Cheers,
    Wanda

It said you just added THE GIVEN DAY. Does htat mean you just finished it? I couldn't tell if the review after it was yours.

I couldn't get through it; tried to return it, Borders told me it was too late, so I tried foisting it off on some male co-workers, some who are more histry-oriented. One of them has it right now.

I started out with the Plum groups (PFF) but am now only on there to read the fan fiction and do not, and don't plan to, be active in any of the discussions. Our Babecake group was originally a part of that larger group but we broke off and became a general reading group. It's more fun talking about everything instead of only one thing.

Your user name sounds familiar too. On Shelfari, that familiarity could be from the time when I was active in the Ecclectic group. What other groups are you in on Yahoo? I'm co-owner of what is now a general reading group called Babecakes. I'm also co-moderator on several others there of which only one is even semi-active (Horror). I'm also a plain old member of a Yahoo group called Paranormal Mystery Writers. (No, I don't write. I apparently don't read well either since I didn't originally see the word "Writers" when I joined up.)

I will gladly send you The Host. I didnt care for it like I did the Twilight Series. It was a bit strange. I am still in love with the Twilight series. I have read all of them twice, it only took me a week to read all four. It was like being a drug addict or something. HMM i guess that would make me a book addict! Send me your address at my email:
    meeshanorman@yahoo.com
I will be happy to mail it out sometime this week. If you dont mind when you get done just send it back. If you decide to keep it we can trade then. No hurry.

I try and trade but I never have enough time anymore. You are welcome to look through my shelf and see if something sparks your curiosity. Remember it is my owned pile that is available for trade I know some of the others have their TBR pile. Happy browsing.

I haven't actually read any John Connolly, but I have added them tbr. I have read Michael Connolly and love him. I wonder if they are related? I have requested The Reaper from the library. I haven't read a good scary story in a while, so I will look forward to that.
