I am a retired school librarian and will always be "hooked on reading". I especially like non-fiction. Interests include World War II, the Holocaust, China, Russia, Physicians, Travel, Memoirs, Biography and Autobiography, POWs, and Okinawa. I'm an Army Brat and lived in Okinawa right after the war, in Yokohama, Japan during the occupation and in Orleans, France 1956-59.I still
love to travel all over the world and have been to more than 30 countries. My house looks like a branch library and I love to find out about books I haven't read in the above categories. Also read some fiction but not as much and collect quotes, mostly about reading, but lots of funny and inspiring ones. My husband and I have been married 44 years and we have two grown sons and four grandchildren.

Sense of humor well developed as coaches always cut through the library to tell jokes on the way to the gym! « less
