I haven't read Demon's Kiss from Maggie Shayne because I was waiting for all three books to come out. I prefer to read a trilogy in one setting. That way the information is still fresh in my mind as I continue to the next book. Since the final book has just been released, I will try to start on it. Right now I'm reading an ARC of Any Given Doomsday by Lori Handeland. Will post a review when I'm done with it.

Vampires, Witches & Were’s all that
would like to invite you to participate in the ABC contest starting on July 1, 2008.
I will post a thread that has the letters of the ABC's list, then start your own thread for example mine would be Sherry's ABC's and list the books that you read with those letters has the first letter in any title of book, it doesn't have to be in the genre either. Each person will be responsible for sending me their points via the group email at vampireswitchesweresallthat@yahoo.com. For every book you read during the time period (until the next letters are posted) you will receive 10 points in the email you must list the title, author, and pages so that if there is tie, we will use page count to break the tie. Everyone is eligible to win, even admin's as a third party will be keeping track of the points for me...so post the books you read...I will post the first letters on July 1.

    As always happy reading..
Show me the books he loves and I shall know the man
far better than through mortal friends.

You asked if you should read Kushiel's Dart. Based on your shelf, I'd say "yes, definitely." Especially if you don't mind a little hint of exotic sensuality added to your romantic, adventurous, well-researched fantasy reading. I love the book's protagonist like a living, breathing person.

I figured she'd be captured but having Constantine chained to the wall, that was what totally blew me away. I just cant imagine being chained up within reach of a monster. It's purely psychological for me! I loved the wards and charms and that you could even get a ward tattooed on you for protection.

Just a reminder that our book for June in Vampire's Witches and Were's is Halfway to the Grave by Jeaniene Frost. Ms. Frost has agreed to visit our group for the day (AWESOME!) to talk to us about her book! While we read, lets take notes so we'll be ready for our one on one with this popular author! As a group we have to vote on when the best time would be for her to spend the day with us. Please vote and make Jeaniene Frost feel welcome! Thanks!! ~.^

Thanks for the invite. I would like to suggest that you try J.R. Ward's books. The series is called The Blackdagger Brotherhood. The first book is titled Dark Lover. Try these and see if you like them. My husband even enjoy this series and we are waiting for the next one. There are 5 books out now and the 6th one will be out soon. Hope you enjoy them!!!!

    Hi Tegan,
The books of Princes Diaries are just fun to read. Meg Cabot is a good writer and it will give you a couple of fun reading ours. The humor in the films are also in the books. I like your shelf, specially the Vampire Games books, they're so hard to get here in Holland. Keep on reading! Greetings, Monique
