I like fiction. I love to read when I get the chance, especially science fiction and fantasy.

This book written from Death's POV is an entertaining and often funny (but poignant) take on WWII Germany and all it's horrors. I couldn't usually take this subject material without it being this light and fun. Good read, and good bookclub pick.

I loved the concept and the recipes so much that I bought the book.

Such a fun read...and as with all books...better than the movie!

A view into pakistan, afganistan and moutain climbers all at once. Not written with too political a voice and not too dramatic. The author does suffer from hero-worship for the subject of the book (Greg Mortensoen the climber/school builder) but it seems deserved.

So good and well written. It makes medieval times feel like today (only better :) It's sort of sexy, fyi.

A happy memoir (which is a nice change from most) but it has no thread of a story, so I give it a meh...M-E-H...meh.

I thought this was a good read. I loved how colloquially (sp?) she wrote. I could have used a few less tangents, but how I talk, I shouldn't be one to gripe. I could really picture Teo and how lusciously luminescent he was.
