Hello Suzanne. I was looking over your shelf and I think you might be able to help me.
I normally only read paranormal romance, but I was giving the No Evil series by Allison Brennan and just LOVE LOVE them! My problem is, since I only read paranormal stuff, i'm not sure which suspense author to try out. I did get the Don't Tell by Karen Rose and enjoyed that as well.

I would appreciate if you have any recommendations like Allison Brennan..
I like how you can see the criminals POV, I like how you are kept guessing throughout the book, not sure who the killer is. To me Brennan's books are easy reading and it just totally grabs your attention and next thing you know.. your done with the book in one sitting, cuz you HAVE to know what will happen next. The more edgy it is the better! =)

I'm so excited about her Deadly Sin series! I can't wait. I also have ALL of Karen Rose's books and will be starting on those soon.

I appreciate any help.. thanks you!

    Suzanne-
Your message made my day! So thrilled to hear you enjoyed The Tunnels, definitely let me know what you think if you get a chance to read Boneyard, too. And I know what you mean re:Cornwell, it's funny, most authors improve over the course of their career, but then there are those who seem to just phone it in, which is a shame. I stopped reading her after Blowfly.
    Best,

    Michelle

Hi Suzanne! I just wanted to see if you ever read my book? It's getting really good reviews on Amazon and has been chosen by a handful of book clubs already, so I'm excited! (A couple reviews are even posted on Shelfari I think.)

Here's the link in case you want to check it out again:

Wow Paris, lucky you! How was it?I hope you both had a blast:)
I'm looking forward to my vacations, sun, beach, sea, and most importanly STACKS OF BOOKS to read LOL!
I'm loving this weather, i've turned into a real summergirl living in Vegas for so long. Right now the weather is coming in handy as well since i had a major waterleak due to an installation company installing a new cv ketel (they didn't tighten the seals of the waterlines) so my whole spareroom and a part of my bedroomwall is ruined so i'm airing/drying out the whole house...thankfully none of my books were affected;)
Anyway if you'd like to trade one day i give you my solemn promise to send the books to you right away!
    Hugs,
    Niki

Suzanne--Thank you so much for your note. I should have responded sooner but I'm still learning my way around Shelfari (I'm slow). I do appreciate the warm welcome and the kind words about my books. I hope you'll come join The Dollmaker discussion on May 1st.

    Hi Suzanne,
Just like Niki, you have a few new authors for me, I love finding new authors. :) I had some of these books while still in the US, but sold most of my books when I moved here. I see we share a love of those mystery/thrillers :) Take care, hugs, Connie

Hi Suzanne, hope you had a good week. Mine has been awfully busy, but now we can enjoy the weekend again.
So your going to Paris soon. Have you been there before. We visited Paris a couple of times years ago and I loved it. It is a shame you'll miss Queens day, but if it would have been my choice I would have gone to Paris too.
I have heard about Connecticut, it is on my wish list to visit once. But we will skip it if its winter then, I'm not a big fan of snow and cold myselfs. We have only been to the US once, on a round trip to Florida, which I liked very much, but wished I had had more time when we visited.
By the way I noticed you added Stalked by Brian Freeman to your list. Did you like it. I read his Immoral last year and next week I'm going to visit a book event by a Dutch forum I joined and I think Brian Freeman will appear as a mystery guest there.
    Bye, Raïne

Hi Suzanne, and crappy weather it is, so I hope enjoying your book. We were so fed up with this weather yesterday, that we have booked ourselves to a nice holiday in Turkey for next month.
I think Amstelveen is indeed almost an hours drive away from Rotterdam. It is near Amsterdam, isn't it. (I should know this actually).
I am Dutch myself, but I can understand that it is a hard language to learn. Myself, I am trying to read as much as I can in English, but it does take more time. But it seems that not all the books I would like to read are translated in Dutch, so sometimes I just don't have a choice.
From what part of the States are you originally?
Well, I hope you still enjoy your book, isn't he a writer that ocassionally teams up with James Patterson. I don't think I have ever read any of his work.
    Bye, Raine

    Hi Suzanne,

Thanks for adding me as a friend. I live with my husband and son of 15 months in Hendrik Ido Ambacht (near Rotterdam).
We moved here two years ago and I am now looking for a new job here, as I still work in the area where we came from, which is an hours drive away.
I couldn't agree with you more about this weather. I am so sick and tired of all this rain, although it does give me plenty of reading time now. But I would rather spent my time outside in the sun. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for better weather.

    Bye, Raïne
