Hi - I'm currently reading Kept and see you enjoyed it. Can you recommend anything along these lines - or the Sarah Waters - books that I should read next?Melissa
Hi Nicola --I found you through your review of the Best American Short Stories 2007 review. If you have any interest, there is a thread going at the group SHORT Stories where we discuss the stories, one at a time. Stop by if you like - we just started with "Pa's Darling" and will probably do 2 a month. Barth's "Toga Party" will be mid-April, and so on until we finish the collection.Best,Justin
Thanks for joining the Suspense & Thrillers group! Love having new members. Though it might be on page 4 of the discussions, there is a spot for introductions as well as members who’d like updates, so jump in at any time. There are several pages of threads in this group. When you have the time, go back over them. See if you can add a comment or two. We’d love to hear what you think. Each month we have a group read. Those threads are saved for new members joining, in case they’d like to add their input. We’re finishing up our first group read of January 2008. It’s “The Missing” by Chris Mooney. What a great book! If you can get a copy, please join us in the discussion. On February 1st, we started our February Group Read: The Water's Lovely by Ruth Rendell. Questions were posted on the 1st, but you are welcome to join in anytime. Our current Buddy Read is “City of Masks: A Cree Black Novel” by Daniel Hecht and Beautiful Lies by Lisa Unger. Buddy Reads work just as the Group Reads. It’s a busy month! Hope you can join in.We also have something new. It’s a Suspense & Thriller Challenge. More can be found on the group or at http://suspense-thriller-challenge.blogspot.com/ We even have a Yahoo Group for this at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/suspense-thriller-challenge/If you have any questions, please let me know!Judith
